Juana Nunez Villa graduated from the Santa Rosa Junior College Radiology Technician Program in June 2024. She recently passed her Radiology License board exam and is now a registered Radiology Technician in California, starting a new position as an RT at Kaiser Permanente.
As a first-generation college student and the daughter of Mexican immigrants, Juana is bilingual in Spanish and English. She constantly advocates for the many Spanish-speaking patients she sees, who are often scared to come to the hospital for treatment due to language barriers and fears about their immigration status being questioned.
