Regional K14 Pathways Program Finder: Gladeo – Bay Area

Built for Inclusivity: Reaching More Learners with Gladeo

Since launching in January 2023, Gladeo Bay Area has seen strong and growing engagement across the region. Built for inclusivity, the platform supports non-English-speaking learners through translation features, and features diverse career spotlights, justice-involved professional stories, and adult learner content ensuring that career exploration is accessible and representative for all Bay Region students.

Since launching in January 2023, the platform has reached 7,293 visitors. The Need

Students and support staff across the Bay Region must navigate multiple college websites and the Chancellor’s Office portal separately to find programs and pathway connections – a time-intensive process with low yield that leads to high rates of student frustration and disengagement. A regional environmental scan of K12 LEAs found that 95% of respondents supported developing a single platform to help students find community college programs aligned to their interests. The platform specifically addresses the lack of a unified resource connecting high school, adult school, and community college programming in one place.

Project Purpose

Gladeo Bay Area provides a single, inclusive platform where learners can explore careers, take interest assessments, search programs across all 28 BACCC colleges, and connect directly to college websites without leaving the platform. It supports college recruitment and enrollment, advances equity through multilingual access (translation used in 12% of sessions) and diverse career spotlights, and helps K12 counselors and college staff guide students toward aligned pathways.

Measurable Goal

Since launch: 3,209 career assessments completed, 3,922 program page visits, 8,478 career profiles read, 1,703 spotlight videos watched, and 1,809 clicks leading users to college websites. The platform lists 28 colleges, 13 adult schools, 207 high schools, 1,600 high school CTE pathways, and 6,000+ programs.

Strategic Direction 2 – Equitable Workforce and Economic Development
