Regional Joint Ventures

Students gained hands-on experience in diagnostic testing for COVID-19 using at-home and/or in-classroom kits. The curriculum focused on the concepts and scientific practices of diagnostic testing for COVID-19 using three different platforms: PCR, ELISA and Lateral Flow tests. Hands-on kits were produced so students could practice “at home” diagnostic testing and learn to analyze and interpret the results. Testing was simulated with safe materials. Curriculum with labs was produced.
