Advanced Manufacturing

The Advanced Manufacturing sector powers the region’s innovation economy by preparing students for high-tech, hands-on careers in modern production and engineering design. Spanning essential disciplines like CNC machining, welding, industrial maintenance, computer-aided design (CAD), and industrial electricity/electronics, our programs equip the workforce to build, program, and maintain tomorrow’s infrastructure. Through robust industry partnerships, BACCC aligns curriculum with real-world standards to connect students directly to vital roles keeping local manufacturing resilient.

Advanced Transportation & Logistics

As the physical backbone of regional commerce, the Advanced Transportation & Logistics sector focuses on keeping the Bay Area moving safely, sustainably, and efficiently. This sector encompasses comprehensive training pathways in automotive tech, aviation, and heavy-duty diesel mechanics. Driven by emerging clean-energy mandates, electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, and evolving supply chain demands, these programs ensure students are fully prepared to service next-generation fleets and navigate complex distribution networks.

Health

As the Bay Area’s largest and fastest-growing employment sector, Healthcare drives demand for a highly skilled, compassionate workforce ready to serve one of the most diverse patient populations in the nation. Spanning critical career pathways in nursing, allied health, medical assisting, health information technology, and community health work, our programs prepare students to meet rigorous licensure and certification standards while addressing the region’s most pressing workforce shortages. Public Safety
