Neon Night at Santiago Canyon College (May 8) featured a vibrant, night market-style experience open to the public. Attendees explored tech exhibits, participated in gaming and Esports activities, and witnessed the creativity of local high school students during a live Prompt-a-Thon challenge.
Prompt-a-Thon at Irvine Valley College (May 9) brought together students for a fast-paced, tournament-style competition using generative AI tools. The event encouraged innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving—key skills for the future of work.
These events were part of a regional initiative to equip students with future-ready experiences through creativity, collaboration, and emerging technologies.
