Introduction to Machine Learning Professional Development Bootcamp – Application Form

The Coding School, in partnership with AWS Machine Learning University, is excited to offer a 2-week Introduction to Machine Learning (ML) Professional Development Intensive for community college, HBCU & MSI faculty.

Participants:  This program is open to U.S. community college, HBCU, and MSI faculty. Participants are required to have prior knowledge in computer science and basic Python knowledge, but no experience or knowledge in ML is required. A short technical assessment may be required.

Benefit:  Educators who successfully complete the two-week intensive bootcamp qualify to receive a certificate of completion, CEUs from Stanford’s CSET, and a $1,200 USD stipend.

When:  Starting the week of April 15 – April 29, 2023

Daily attendance is required; excused absences will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The dates are as follows:

-April 15 (Saturday)

      Onboarding  plus instruction: 1:00-6:00 pm EST/10:00 am-3:00 pm PST

– April 17-20 (Mon.-Thurs.)

       6:30-9:30 pm EST / 3:30 – 6:30 pm PST

– April 22 (Saturday)

      1:00-6:00 pm EST/10:00 am-3:00 pm PST

– April 24-27 (Mon-Thur.)               

       6:30-9:30 pm EST / 3:30 – 6:30 pm PST

– April 29 (Saturday)

      1:00-6:00 pm EST/10:00 am-3:00 pm PST

*Additional ML bootcamp options will follow in Summer 2023.

Where:  To ensure accessibility, the program will be held virtually over Zoom.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis so submit your application as soon as possible.
