Many Black students, skill-builders, and aspiring tech professionals have the character and personality traits employers claim to seek but often overlook – grit, determination, motivation, persistence, adaptability, and hard work. Hakeem Oseni works at Salesforce as a Senior Product Manager, Detection and Response in the Cyber Security team. Prior to that, he spent 5 year at Wells Fargo as a Vice President of Encryption Services for the Cyber Security division at Wells Fargo. Hakeem is on the Bay Area leadership team of Cyversity, a non-profit that helps and supports women and BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color) in Cybersecurity.
Babbette Jackson is a 26 year old Cybersecurity Engineer at Juniper Networks who has a passion for spreading knowledge and providing guides and resources for those transitioning into tech or just want to learn more about the everyday happenings in the tech world.
