Fall Advisory Meeting

Dear RVPA Industry & Employer Partners

Thank you again for being a member of our Regional Virtual Production Academy advisory. Your support informing and influencing program outcomes and content is deeply appreciated! The Spring 2023 meeting was extremely productive, as you’ll see in the attached minutes. So the project team is really looking forward to the Fall 2023 advisory meeting on November 7, 4:00 – 5:00 pm Pacific via Zoom.

We’ll provide a project update, focusing on the curriculum you’ve helped us design and we continue to seek your input on the “VP Professional” certificate aimed at skill-building for individuals already in the industry.

We also have exciting news about a research project in which RVPA student interns played a key role. The intern research project was funded by a partnership with the California Film Commission and we hope you can help us identify similar opportunities with other industry partners. This will be an agenda item.
