Hello Everyone,
This is just to keep you in the loop and updated with the AIDA developments.
- We got the 4 courses (CIS 96M, CIS 96L, CIS 96F, and Math 100) approved by our district curriculum committee last week. They should be routed over to the State by now. I do not know how to get the info or track the progress on the state approval. Please share if you do!
- Our Laney curriculum co-chair Heather has been helping to complete the narrative of the CA on NLP. Heather asked for some info on similar programs. I compiled and forwarded the info with help from Angel, and Dan’s links plus search. We should have it done soon.
- The first Deep Learning I course (CIS 96H) is finished with the first draft. It is being used to complete a draft on the second course of Deep Learning II (CIS 96I). I hope to finish both of them in time to submit with the CA for NLP to our Laney CC early April.
- The AI Capstone course (CIS 96T) is being worked on. It should be finished before long.
- The Computer Vision I course (CIS 96P) has started. The CV series should be completed late this year or early next year.
- The Ethics and AI course (CIS 96G) will be started after I complete the DL series; I will try to get it done before the end of this summer.
- There are a couple of interesting AI courses and projects in the dream-pipe!
I also have the AI course chart updated and included on the right.
