Navigating AI Together – A Community College Unconference March 7, 2025, Foothill College
We invite you to attend Navigating AI Together: A Community College Unconference on Friday, March 7, at Foothill College.
This conference has been organized in response to last spring’s Community College AI Survey. You and 430 other Bay Area respondents provided your email addresses and asked us to invite you to AI-related conversations and collaborative efforts.
What is an unconference?
An unconference is organized around attendees’ interests and expertise. It uses a structured process in which participants begin by identifying topics of common interest and then organize the day around those topics. This meeting format has proven powerful in facilitating the exchange of ideas and exploring the potential for collaboration at times of significant change and disruption. We are fortunate to have Dave Nielsen from the AI Alliance leading this event. Dave has organized more than 300 unconferences.
Who is this for?
Faculty from across all programs and disciplines who see the benefit of sharing AI-related perspectives and experiences and exploring ways in which we might navigate the challenges and opportunities of AI together are invited to attend.
Who is organizing the unconference?
The 28-college Bay Area Community College Consortium (baccc.net) is sponsoring the conference. BACCC is funded by the Chancellor’s Office to support collaboration across colleges.
