Presented by Jeff D’Andria, Sub-Regional Director, SF/Peninsula.
○ Computing Talent Initiative (CTI): Tech-based internship program with 12 employer partners (e.g., Amazon, Salesforce).
○ Tech Sales Jobs Pilot: A non-technical track focused on skill-based hiring, developed with Anthropic and Salesforce
○ Salesforce Grant: $1.8M for AI skill development and placement support (rev share via YuPro).
AI Professional Development (AIPD) Strategy
Presented by Dann Bergman, Senior Consultant, 66 Training , (for Dan Montoys, AI RJV Project Lead.
○ 5 Roadshows showcasing AI curriculum development across colleges. ○ Launch of welcome kit and curriculum guidelines.
○ Laney College Hackathon for student involvement
○ Formation of an Industry Advisory Committee (first meeting: May 30). ○ Scheduled workshops, talks, and faculty PD opportunities in partnership with Google for Education.
